Why is the Cosmetic Surgery Law Named After Kanye West's Mother?

Yup that is correct! The Donda West Cosmetics Surgery Law was named after Kanye's mom. When the law was just a bill, it was signed by California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. The article from Sharifa McFarlane tells that Kanye's mom died of heart failure just after her surgery.

Cosmetic surgery laws seek to protect people who undergo this kind of medical procedure. The Donda West cosmetic surgery law is named after rapper Kanye West's mother. Kanye West's mother passed away in November, 2007, after suffering heart failure on the day following her operation at Centinela Freeman Regional Medical Center.

The bill for the law to protect persons undergoing cosmetic surgery was originally signed by California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

There is a long process before a bill becomes law. Any member of the House can introduce a piece of legislation. After that, the legislation is handed to the speaker of the House, and then referred to the appropriate committee. The bill will be debated, and sent to the President for review, before becoming a law.
This cosmetic surgery law requires that all persons contemplating this kind of operation do a physical examination 30 days before they go under the knife.

The Donda West law gives greater protection to people who go under the surgeon's knife and has been a law since October 12, 2009.

Cosmetic surgery involves surgery that improves a person's appearance and is usually performed to help boost a person's self esteem. Plastic surgery can be rehabilitative in nature, with some persons opting to remove scars that remind them of a traumatic experience, or remove gang-related tattoos.

Such operations are sometimes financed by charitable organizations. A health history and pre-surgery check up are standard procedure in regular surgery cases.

Currently, people can do not always do checks because plastic surgery is seen as having a lower risk than operations that have to be done to cure an illness. Serious complications from plastic surgery are rare, with 1 in every 58,810 people dying from complications after surgery.

Donda West chaired the English Department at Chicago State University. She was always very supportive of her son and also served as the CEO of West Brands LLC and chairperson of the Kanye West Foundation, which worked to improve literacy and decrease dropout rates.

Justin Bieber just released an autobiography by the title of “First Step 2 Forever: My Story.” Now that Bieber fever has settled to some extent in the music world, the print world is the next front for the teen singer. Little girls can now read their male teen idol’s exact words while they listen to his songs about middle school parties. Bieber’s almost prepubescent vocals have won the hearts of millions around the world. At the tender age of 16, Bieber has managed to maintain the support of famous R&B singer Usher for the past three years. There remain, however, a few more eggs of knowledge that need to be cracked regarding Bieber. He may not be just a tool for greedy adults to make money off of. The luck in his life is almost unimaginable given the conditions he endured before becoming a child star. He is a truly inspirational American/Canadian success story.

Bieber lived under the care of his young single mother, Patti Mallette, until the age of 13. She was forced to work low-wage jobs in order to support Bieber and herself. While he has obtained riches at a young age, his pre-celebrity life may not have been ideal. His success is due not only to how his mother raised him but also her direct support of his musical abilities.

Bieber taught himself to play guitar, piano, drums and trumpet by the time he was a teenager. He developed enough skill to place second performing Ne-Yo’s “So Sick” during a vocal competition in 2007 in Stratford, Ontario. The video recording of his performance was placed on YouTube by his mother and, thanks to the Internet’s impact on humanity, was discovered by an agent.

The prospect of this should be indisputably exciting on some degree for anyone – instant stardom is part of the American Dream. Naturally, the positive aspects from financial reassurance and the life as a pop star catch most individuals’ curiosity. There are those who cannot accept the exceptional success of such a young member of society. Bieber's critics tend to cover-up their jealousy by harassing him. There are many rumors spawned from those holding negative attitudes against him, including rumors about his mother posing in Playboy and about Bieber being gay.

Bieber has a face which young girls go Lady Gaga over – as if the backing of Usher was not enough. The young star should not feel shameful of his support. The adoration of so many members of the opposite gender is a thing that many young men in this country try to obtain. When I was his age, I definitely envied the number of age-appropriate ladies he has. In this sense, I can respect how he has obtained his success. Bieber sets an example on how to earn fame and fortune – all one needs is a little luck, a degree of natural talent and the sheer fortune of being in the right place at the right time on YouTube.
